SB Patil College of Architecture and Design, Pune was established in the year 2014 as one of the pioneering colleges in the state of Maharashtra for architectural education. The affiliated college is located in Sector 26, Pradhikaran, Nigdi, near Akurdi Railway Station, and is approved by the Council of Architecture and accredited by NAAC. The total student strength of the institute is 364 on its 2.59 acres campus with 58 percent females and 42 percent male students. The institution has also maintained a healthy student-faculty ratio of 38 faculty members. SB Patil College runs only one specialised course in Architecture; this epitomises the focus of the institution in offering courses in this particular field of study. SB Patil College of Architecture and Design has provided various facilities for the learning and development of its students. SB Patil College of Architecture and Design offers only one full-time course: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch). This is a five-year programme with an approved intake of 120 seats. The B.Arch course aims at covering the entirely comprehensive education in architectural design, theory, and practice.
