The College of Paramedical Sciences is one of the constituent college of Adesh University, Bathinda, has been started in the year 2006. This prestigious college provides several paramedical courses to the continuously increasing employment and demand of professional health care workers. The college has a teaching faculty of 19 members mainly educators who facilitate a strong learning atmosphere for the students in paramedical science. A total of 10 specialised courses are taught in the institution where the two degree programs are focusing on different aspects of paramedical sciences. Located in VPO Bhucho kalan, Tehsil Nathana, Barnala Road, Bathinda the college is well connected and has adequate environment to study. Some of the affiliated laboratories that equipped the college include Cath Lab, Molecular Diagnostics, Molecular Biotechnology and In-vitro Fertilisation Laboratories which have been recently installed. By using these facilities students gain practical experience and awareness of current technologies in this area. Beside, the college has a rich library where students can find a lot of materials for their learning process. There are also places for sports lovers in the institution and the availability of sports facilities enhances the development of the whole personality of the learner. College of Paramedical Sciences offers all semester programmes in full time in different specialization areas of paramedical sciences. It offers ten unique courses , and all are option full-time courses, which can foster a student to have a rich knowledge of each field. These courses consist of B.Sc. programmes in Radio Imaging Technology , Medical Lab Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Dialysis Technology , Cardiac Care Technology, Anesthesia Technology, Advance Imaging Technology, Optometry, and Blood Bank Technology, besides Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP). The college has a total approved intake of 520 students for all the courses that are offered so as to ease learning for every learner.
