APJ Abdul Kalam School of Environmental Design is a relatively young School which was founded in 2016, and it is situated in Ernakulam, Kerala. This college is specialised in environmental design and architecture education. Located at Mekkadambu P.O., Kadathy, Muvatupuzha, the institute holds the approval of the Council of Architecture with regards to the quality of its educational services in the category of architecture. The college is affiliated with MG University (MGU) . Currently the school has a faculty of 9 members, making the learning environment specific for a person who wants to be an architect. The programme has an approved intake capacity of 80 seats, which provides great opportunities for the candidates who aspire to become architects. APJ Abdul Kalam School of Environmental Design follows the regular admission policy of any architectural college or school in India and is merit-based. The Council of Architecture conducts the National Aptitude Test in Architecture ( NATA ), which has to be passed by all students wishing to pursue a course in architecture. Further, entry scores from the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination ( KEAM ) are also considered within the institute.
