One of the premier institutions, established in 1947, located in Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, is V.P. and R.P.T.P. Science College, Anand. This co-educational institution is affiliated to the University and accredited by NAAC. It offers undergraduate and doctoral diverse courses in Science and Computer Applications. The college sprawls over 2 acres of campus with a total enrolment of 1,603 students, wherein distribution by gender is 62% male and 38% female. There are 64 dedicated faculty members at this institute, and it offers 36 courses at 3 degree levels with a specialization in the different fields of Science and Technology. This college has taken pride in providing a host of facilities for the comfortable academic and personal growth of its students. There are separate, well-furnished boys' and girls' hostels for those who stay outside the city. Apart from studies, our college also focus on overall development of students. Personality Development Programs are compulsory for every Student of college. Even the College focuses on extra-curricular activities like NCC, NSS & SPORTS. The students are motivated to enhance their skills, for which there are many clubs which are working in our college. Open Mic and other concerts are also being held for students.
