VMS College of Pharmacy Batala, having been established in the year 2004, is a prime college that aims to impart education in the field of pharmacy in the state of Punjab, India. This co-educational college is at Amritsar Road, Batala, in the Gurdaspur district and sits on 2.5 acres of land. The Human Anatomy and Physiology Lab has a human skeleton, coloured charts, and models to enhance understanding of human structure and functions. In the Pharmacognosy Lab, students also use dissected and compound microscopes for phytochemical screenings of the herbal drugs available. VMS College of Pharmacy provides two regular courses in the field of pharmacy for different academic streams and with different objectives to Plate. The institute offers an associate programme in pharmacy, better known as D.Pharma , which is for a duration of two years and B.Pharma, which is a four-year programme. The two courses have an approved capacity of 60 students each, hence a total of sixty openings per year.
