Vivekananda College, Agastheeswaram, started in the year 1965, is one of the renowned college situated in Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college, which has been accepting accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), teaches a wide array of programmes in different fields. The college is a large one and offers education up to college level on a 60-acre land it occupies. It has a population of 1624 students, while 116 of them are faculty. M.Phil. programmes are offered in Economics and Tamil, while Ph.D. programmes are offered in Tamil and Economics through research activities at the college.
