Vivekanand College of Teacher's Education, this college is a teacher’s education college established in the city of Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan and is solely focused on preparing the teachers. This affiliated college was founded in 2007 and has therefore been in the process of determining the future of education for more than 10 years. The college occupies a mere 0.87 acres of space, which makes it provide a concentrated learning atmosphere to its learners. It has a total strength of 67 students and has a total strength of 17 teaching and non-teaching faculty members, which helped the institute provide individual attention and quality education. The campus consists of departmental laboratories, which makes the training very crucial for future teachers. The college also targets the welfare of the students by having a cafeteria, a first aid station in the form of a health centre, and other sports amenities. The institute has risen to the challenge of meeting modern education needs through effective IT equipment. However, there is a gym in the school for those who want to exercise and keep fit while studying. Vivekanand College of Teacher's Education offers a single, specialised course: The B.Ed. programme , popularly known as Shiksha Shastri, is the second course of its kind in the country. The intake of this full-time course is two years, and having a sanctioned number of 100 students is a clear indication that the institute is out to produce quality teachers. This programme is intended to prepare the students for a professional teaching career by imparting to them relevant knowledge as well as skills. Although the college at the moment only has one entire degree, such specialisation makes it possible to train and provide experts in the area of education thoroughly. Admission to Vivekanand College of Teacher’s Education is made through merit in the Pre-Shiksha Shastri Test (PSST). This entrance examination comprises the prescribed syllabus of Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur.
