Vishuddha Vidyalaya Society’s College of Physical Education started in 1972 and located in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, is orienting the future of physical education. This institution is unique; located on a 16-acre compound, its primary aim is to churn out well-trained physical education personnel. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college helps the students to have a specialised course plan that has an effective combination of theory and practical. Vishuddha Vidyalaya Society's College of Physical Education currently offers one flagship programme: the B.P.Ed., or Bachelor of Physical Education. This is a three-year full course but prepares students with complete knowledge and expertise in physical education. The intake capacity that has been cleared for the programme is 100 seats, for which the college has the capacity to train a good many physical education professionals in the future. Even though this is one of the college’s specialised degrees, the institution proves its concern with quality education in physical education and sports sciences.
