To generate qualified and professional nurses, Vinayaka Missions Sikkim College of Nursing aims at offering all round nursing trainings of high standards. Vinayaka Missions Sikkim College of Nursing owns numerous resources to improve students’ learning activities and their general welfare. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls thereby making sure that students are fully accommodated in their comfortable facilities. These include a health centre with first aid facilities since any health activity requires a equipped first aid section. The central library of the college encompasses about ten thousand books and journals in its shelf from different fields and provide computers for internet surfing for research resources. But to fulfill modern educational requirements, the institute has also facilitated properly IT related sector. The available recreation and social areas in the facility include a cafeteria that caters for both the staff and student which helps improve togetherness on the compound. Vinayaka Missions Sikkim College of Nursing offers two full-time nursing programmes , B.Sc Nursing and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). The B.Sc Nursing is a four year course for 100 students intake and the GNM is three year course with a intake capacity of 20 Students. They are meant to present the student with theoretical concepts and skills relevant for one to become a professional nurse.
