Vedant Institute of Management and Technology, popularly known as VIMT, Ghaziabad, came into existence in the year 2008 as an affiliated college in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. It has a sprawling campus spread over 6.887 acres. The institute, since the time of its establishment, has surely become a techno-hub in this part of the region. This institute has been approved by AICTE, ensuring national standards for technical education. VIMT is committed to providing quality education in various engineering streams. The VIMT fraternity comprises 73 faculty members. Excellent facilities are provided by the VIMT for every requirement of the students so that they can have better learning. The state of the art library is spread over an area of 30,000 sq ft and is fully air-conditioned. The total collection comprising more than 15,000 books. It subscribes to 1,550 international online journals and magazines. The institute consists of well-equipped laboratories, a well-structured auditorium, and a gym. Boys' and girls' separate hostels ensure an excellent living environment inside the campus, security on a 24x7 basis, and hospitals nearby to handle any kind of emergency. The commitment of VIMT to all-round development may be gauged from the fact that as much as academics, emphasis is laid on practical skills too. The students get hands-on experience from its IT infrastructure inclusive of specialised software packages in website designing, system software development, and electronic circuit simulation. The programmes in engineering comprise undergraduate B. Tech courses. Presently, VIMT encompasses four B. Tech programmes, viz. Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering, making a total of 240 in B. Tech. The curriculum shall impart a strong foundation to the students in their chosen fields and prepare them for the most rapidly challenging tech industry.
