Vandayar Polytechnic College was ceremoniously started in the year 2005 not as a regular engineering college but as the technical institution in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college recognized by all India council for technical education addresses AICTE provides various diploma courses in engineering streams . The college infrastructure is spread over 5 acre and the total intake capacity of this college is 746 and total no of faculties 74.
