The University College of Fine Arts and Music, Karnataka University, Dharwad was established in the year 1973, is a specialised college for the students of arts and music. This course takes three years and awards full time education in music with an emphasis on theory and practice. There is no specific number of seats planned for this programme; nevertheless, the student strength of the college is 56, and therefore can be concluded as a close-nit atmosphere.
