University College of Engineering JNTUK, Narasaraopet - established in 2016 - is set within sprawling 85.94 acres of land at Reddy Nagar, Narasaraopet, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, for All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved. The college runs 7 programmes under 2 degrees, with cumulative enrolment of students to be 1,234 and strength of the faculty at 12. The University College of Engineering specialises in an assortment of disciplines within engineering, thereby able to deliver to would-be engineers a well-rounded technological knowledge base. Admissions to the B.Tech programmes are mainly done on the basis of an AP EAMCET . AP EAMCET evaluates the aptitude of the candidates in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Admissions for the M.Tech programmes are made based on scores of either Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering ( GATE ) or the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) administered by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
