The University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) was founded in 1971. It offers a wide range of medical and paramedical programmes. Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital serves as the affiliated teaching hospital, providing a total of 1526 beds for clinical training and patient care. UCMS is approved by the National Medical Commission. UCMS Delhi is a constituent college of the University of Delhi . UCMS Delhi offers a range of undergraduate courses, which consist of an MBBS programme as well as the B.Sc Medical Technology Radiography course. UCMS Medical College courses include MS/MD, PGD, and M.Sc Medical Imaging Technology Radiography at PG level. The PGD courses are offered in disciplines like Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Ophthalmology, Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiodiagnosis and others. Additionally, UCMS Delhi also offers a doctoral course in DM Endocrinology, allowing students to further specialise in this field of study. The UCMS Delhi fees for the MBBS course is Rs 1.21 lakhs. For admission to UCMS Delhi's UG programmes, Candidates need to take the CUET UG/ NEET UG exam and attend counselling. UCMS Delhi admission to postgraduate programmes is based on NEET PG exam results, while admission to the DM programme is based on NEET SS results.
