Trisha College of Education at Hamirpur was born in the year 2003 which is one of the premier institutions providing teacher education in Himachal Pradesh, India. This co-educational college is established in Thain, P.O. Jol Sapper (Rangas), and covers an area of 1.7 acres of campus. It has also been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), because it is an affiliated college. The institute has three dedicated courses in education with an overall student enrolment capacity of 249 and a faculty of 14. The approved student’s intake for all the courses totaled 200 students; therefore, the college offers many opportunities for novice teachers. Maximum thirty five students have been admitted in the M.Ed programme and the same number of students can take admission in D.El.Ed programme but the B.Ed programme which is the flagship programme of our college can accommodate hundred students.
