Thirumalai Engineering College (TEC), Kancheepuram was established in the year 1999, is one of the most sought-after institutes, and is affiliated with the University of Madras. For undergraduate engineering programmes, the admissions procedures are based on the performance rates obtained in the higher secondary board examinations and other competitive examinations, including TNPCEE/CET.
