In 1881, Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, was established. The college is affiliated with the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) and imparts a varied range of specialised courses in homoeopathic medicine. This 1-acre campus accommodates an enrolment of 163 students and a faculty of 23, showing the dedication towards the homoeopathic education field by offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses to aspiring homoeopaths at different levels of their academic journey. The institution offers, at the postgraduate level, six MD programmes: MD Practice of Medicine, MD Homeopathic Organon of Medicine , MD Homoeopathic Paediatrics, MD Homoeopathic Pharmacy , MD Materia Medica, and MD Homoeopathic Philosophy .
