SVE Society’s BR Darur First Grade College, established in 1983 in Harugeri, is a premier educational institute in Belgaum, Karnataka. This affiliated college is located in a large area of 6.57 acres and it was established with an aim to shape young generation for nearly forty years now. The college has a total of 837 students and has a strong team of 19 faculty members which make the learning system more student-centred. One of the institute’s major achievements, therefore, is its accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). At present, the college provides five undergraduate programmes to suit the different demands of student preferences as well as equip them for the global society. These programmes are as follows: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). Each course is intended for the provision of basic knowledge required for further studies or a particular profession in the chosen subject area. The total headship of the college has an enrolment capacity of seven hundred and thirty seven in its quest to uphold an impressive students to faculty ratio necessary for learning.
