Candidates looking for admission in B.Tech courses must possess a pass at 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of schooling along with UP Board or other Board recognized by it. The eligibility criteria prescribe Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any one of the following elective: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject. While candidates belonging to the SC/ST need at least 45%, the General category requires at least 50% in the qualifying examination.
