Susruta School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences, Silchar, was established in 2010 as a constituent college of Assam University. This co-educational institution is located at Silchar, Assam, focusing on education and research in the pharmaceutical context. Since this is an approval by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the students graduating from it will be at the standard national level of pharmacy education. The institute offers programmes in pharmacy at a bachelor's, master's, and even doctoral level.
