Suprabhath Institute of Management and Computer Studies, Keesara (SIMACS) is one of the leading Institute in Telangana, India. This affiliated college was established in 1999 and started training the future managers and computer science professionals more than 20 years ago. SIMACS is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is situated in a small area comprising 3 acres of land. The institute is a community of 749 students accompanied by a competent force of 47 faculty members. Two postgraduate programmes are available in the SIMACS to assist those, who want to achieve more in the spheres of management and computer applications: MBA and MCA. Intake capacity of MBA programme in the college is 210 and that of MCA programme is 30 students only. Each of them lasts for two years and gives theoretical and practical preparation in the chosen subject. The admission process of SIMACS is actually governed largely by the TSICET or the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test. Similar to the MBA programme, where 70 percentages of the test takers are granted a seat based on their positions in the TSICET examination, the MCA programme permits 30 percentage industrial or managerial/NRI students. These two categories of admission guarantee the admission of a qual¬atively appropriate and diverse population of students, while offering a chance to other qualified students.
