Subramanian Polytechnic College is one of the premier Polytechnic Colleges in Pudukkottai District Tamil Nadu India, started in 1983 with a spiritual effort towards moulding the future Technical education. This affiliated college which is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is located on-campus of 12.177 acre of land. The college accredits a total of 648 students and 41 faculties providing a wide array of diploma courses. This show the ability of the institution in providing education in its six specialised courses to meet the growing technical needs. Subramanian Polytechnic College has several amenities that enhance students’ learning experiences in many ways as shall be seen. Subramanian Polytechnic College is currently covering six diploma courses and all the offered diploma courses are full time. These include Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering , Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Engineering. The college also provides lateral entry for the Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering stream. Overall approved intake for all the courses is 372 and Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering streams has the maximum intake of 120 each.
