Stella Mary’s College of Engineering, Kanyakumari, was established in the year 2012 and is a self financing, private engineering college functioning under the Thiruvallar Quasi Religious Charter in the southern part of Tamil Nadu, India. This affiliated college approved by AICTE, New Delhi and NAAC, Bangalore comprising a wide spectrum of engineering and management courses for its students. Located on a large land area of 40 acres, the college admits a total of 805 student and has a faculty of 95 members. Stella Mary’s offers 9 courses over three degrees levels in order to focus on specialisation in different areas of engineering and management. Stella Mary’s College of Engineering make sure that the students are provided with quality environment and effective teaching learning resources and equipments. The campus has developed various laboratories for each branch and they are Mechanical, Civil, Computer science, Electronics communication and electronics and electrical. The central library contains approximately 5000 books in the engineering disciplines and the library facility provides e-resources. In the interest of students, there are two hostels -one for boys and the other for girls having facilities of accommodation, a canteen and comfortable and home-like environment. There is also a gymnasium, a cafeteria, a hall for assembly and other functions, and a shop to meet learners’ various needs among other facilities. Stella Mary’s College of Engineering have a total of 9 courses with 6 undergraduate (UG) and 3 postgraduate (PG) courses. The UG programmes are BE Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science . The PG programmes consist of ME in Computer Science and Engineering and Industrial Safety Engineering , and MBA.
