St Francis Institute of Management and Research Mumbai (SFIMAR) was established in 2002 by the Society of the Congregation of Franciscan Brothers. SFIMAR Mumbai is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated with the University of Mumbai, Mumbai . The college is accredited with an A+ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). SFIMAR Mumbai offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The courses offered are BMS , PGDM, MMS , Ph.D. Admission to BMS requires candidates to appear for the MH BMS CET . For St. Francis Institute of Management and Research Mumbai admission, MMS candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with the required marks and a valid score in exams such as CAT /CMAT/ XAT /MAT/ATMA/ MAH MBA CET . PGDM admission is based on a written test followed by a personal interview. For PhD admission, candidates must have a Master’s/M.Phil degree and qualify through PET (University of Mumbai) or national-level exams such as SLET/ UGC-CSIR NET /GATE. The average MEP stood at Rs. 3.35 LPA, while the lowest MEP was Rs. 1.80 LPA. A total of 175 students were placed during the placement season 2025, reflecting a placement percentage of 82.00%. SFIMAR Mumbai provides facilities including state-of-the-art infrastructure, well-equipped classrooms, computer labs, library, auditorium, cafeteria, gymnasium, sports ground, hostel and medical center.
