Sri Subbaraya and Narayana College, Narasaraopet, established in 1950, is one of the proud institutions in Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. This affiliated college has approval from the National Council for Teacher Education and offers a wide variety of 19 courses at the degree level. Spread over a vast 34-acre campus, the college has a total student enrolment of 1,463, along with a faculty strength of 70. These include streams in arts, commerce, and science, with subjects such as political science, economics, mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science, botany, zoology, and biotechnology. The college also hosts a D.El.Ed programme meant for aspiring teachers. The M.Sc Chemistry programme alone has an intake of 30 students, which goes on to show the commitment of the college towards maintaining quality education through controlled class sizes. The admission process for the courses in Sri Subbaraya and Narayana College is merit-based so that it gives an opportunity for meritorious candidates to pursue studies in subjects of their choice.
