Sri Sarada College of Education for Women was started in the year 2007 in Tirunelveli being a reputed college preparing women educator for the future. Lying in Sarada Nagar, Ariyakulam, Maharajanagar Post, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, this is an affiliated college situated in an 82 acres area. The institute is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and specially focuses only on female students in the field of teacher education. The college admits a total of 111 students and allows enrolment of 10 faculties to provide personal touch and quality education for the trainers in making. The B.Ed course has been structured for the students to acquire the courses required as well as practical experience in teaching profession. However, this is the primary programme that is being offered by the college but to meet the needs of the teaching practice in the different areas, most aspects of education are covered in the syllabuses.
