Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Nursing Thiruvallur, was set up in 1993 and is a constituent college under Sri Ramachandra University Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is a co-educational institution specifically recognised for a nursing school and is affiliated with the Indian Nursing Council (INC). These programmes are for students that have ambitions of becoming nursing professionals, as the college provides degrees at the bachelor’s, master's, and even doctoral levels. Holding a total of 21 committed teaching staffs, the college makes sure that its students receive a quality education. There is a very well-built gymnasium for the whole school with a separate section for boys and girls for those interested in bodybuilding. The college also manages an auditorium for events & seminars, adding to the vibrant cultural life of the college. There are 8 courses in Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Nursing Thiruvallur, in total: 2 undergraduate and 5 postgraduate courses. At undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the college offers full-time programmes in different specialities of nursing. The B.Sc. Nursing program is one of the well-known courses with an intake of 100 students, and the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing program has an intake of 60 students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers M.Sc. in Medical Surgical Nursing , Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing , Community Health, and Mental Health Psychology Nursing with a strength of six students in each area.
