Sri Manakula Vinayagar Nursing College is a pioneering organisation in the field of nursing education that was started in the year 2007 at Puducherry, India. Spread over five acres of land, the college has 428 total student ’enrolments and 51 faculties. The programmes offered in Sri Manakula Vinayagar Nursing College include different nursing courses that meet different educations. The college presently offers 7 full-time programmes, which are undergraduate and postgraduate courses. At the undergraduate level there are 100 seats in the four-year B.Sc. Nursing and 30 seats in the two-year Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing . For further learning, the college offers the following M.Sc. Nursing specialisations with three seats each: Medical Surgical Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing and Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing. It is regrettable, but the total approved intake in all classes is 145 students per year, which indicates that the college consistently focuses on the quality of education and individual approach.
