The admissions process at Sri Lakshmi Hayagreeva Institute of Science, Commerce, and Management focuses on the fact that it should be easy for students to enrol in the institution. There is no information about the particular steps of the admission process of particular courses for every college; however, it is known that colleges follow the rules of their parent university. Generally, admissions are given on the results of 10+2 or any equivalent examination, and considering the merit in the respective course, subjects are chosen. For example, science stream students will be eligible to apply for B.Sc., and commerce stream students for B.Com. and BBA. There might be marks in the qualifying exam, an entrance test if applicable, and possibly an interview to provide the institute with desired candidates. For instance, the entrance examination is not listed as a requirement for admission into the institute, although it is not clearly stated where the institute gets their students from, but one can easily deduce that they most likely get most of their students from the scores they achieved in their board exams. This approach can be useful to those students who have routinely passed all their school exams but lack the ability to competently prepare for the entrance examinations. It is recommended that all students interested in the institute visit the institute’s site or contact the admission office to get the current admission dates and procedures as well as course requirements. Though information on scholarships and famous alumni graduates is sparse information about various courses and facilities offered by the institute for qualitative education in different subjects is evident. The college located in Mysuru city, which has been culturally and traditionally famous for its educational institutions, makes it all the more attractive for students to take admission here, where they also get modern education along with traditional values.
