Sri Belimatha Mahasamsthana Institute of Technology was established in the year 1975 at Nelamangala, Bangalore, Karnataka. It is a co-educational engineering institution and was established and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education. The institution has groomed the future engineers of the coming generation almost for five decades now. The institute is located along the NH4 Bypass and offers an ideal environment for understanding and all-round development. The institute provides quality education in various engineering disciplines through a strength of 28 dedicated professionals. Different facilities developed at SBMSIT have added to the learning experience and holistic development of students on campus. Both boys and girls hostels are present on campus and provide a pleasant stay for outstation students. A well-equipped library imparts knowledge along with the state-of-the-art I.T. infrastructure, equipping students with the best of technological innovation along with infrastructural facilities. Besides these, the needs of refreshment for the students are met through a cafeteria, and events and activities are conducted in an auditorium. Medical facilities on campus are also there to cater to health and wellness issues for the entire SBMSIT community. The institute has a general list of engineering programmes that are all fully in nature. SBMSIT currently offers four different B.Tech programmes , all of which take four years to complete. There is the B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, and Mechanical Engineering programmes.
