Sree Krishna College of Education, Tumkur, started its functioning in the year 2004 and is an ISO 9001:2008 certified college for teacher training in Karnataka, India. This affiliated college, recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), provides result-orientated education for both boys and girls. Located in Batawadi Mahalakshmi Nagar on a mere 0.75 acres, the college currently has a total enrolment of 199 students and a teaching staff of 16. Sree Krishna College of Education aims at producing qualified trainers through its Bachelors in Education B.Ed course, which is the only course offered by the college. Sree Krishna College of Education also has a passion for delivering students with a proper environment and relevant facilities. The library, which is the lifeblood of the institution, provides books, encyclopaedias, journals, magazines, and use of computers for the internet.
