Sree College of Education, Namakkal, was established in 2013 and is an affiliated college coming under the state of Tamil Nadu in India. This college for boys and girls is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), that lays down standard norms for teacher education. Located at Alampalayam, Rasipuram-Taluka part of Namakkal District, the college mainly focuses on offering teacher training. Though Sree College of Education has a strength of only 12 faculties, all members of the faculty are dedicated teachers. This is a two-year, full-time course which has been developed with the view of producing competent teachers. Contrary to other colleges, this college has an intake capacity of 100 students for this programme and hence has a very good opportunity for those who wish to be a part of this profession.
