SR Government Polytechnic College, situated at Sagar (M.P.), was established in 1986 and is an important technical college at present in Sagar. This affiliated college being approved by the All India Council for Technical Education offers a number of diploma courses in various specialisation fields of engineering. Having a large acreage of 6.3 acres, the college provides an adequate environment for offering technological education and training for skills. SR Government Polytechnic College has a team of 14 teaching and non-teaching staff members who are working hard to develop a generation of skilled technicians and engineers. SR Government Polytechnic College, Sagar, currently has five diploma courses for which students have to dedicate three years of their time for the programme. These courses are offered to tap different fields and market requirements, such as Diploma in Fashion Technology, Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering , Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Interior Design , and Diploma in Modern Office Management. These programmes have been approved to admit 60 students and this gives a total of 300 places for all the courses offered.
