It is established in Malayan, Post-Muzaffarabad, and functions under the auspices of BCI spread across a compact campus that stretches to about 5 acres, hosting two full-time law programmes, holding 124 students in total. Smt. Vidyawati College of Law hosts facilities to enrich the learning process among would-be legal professionals. Above everything else, these facilities harbour the hub of academic pursuits - that is, the library- well-equipped for study activities. It harbours collections of texts, journals, and even digital resources besides the facilities to access internet that is used to search and have a wealth of online information. The one of the excellent features is the Moot Court where the students are given enormous practical experience in presenting cases and building argumentation skills. It plays a vital role in developing analytical confidence and prepares them for real-life legal issues. Smt. Vidyawati College of Law offers two law courses : a three-year LLB course with 120 seats and a five-year integrated BA LLB course with 60 seats. Both the programmes are full-time and reflect the institute's commitment to intensive legal education. The college curriculum is designed to provide a strong base in legal theory, but also lays great emphasis on practical skills that would be needed for a successful career in law.
