Sixty per cent of the B.Tech programs are done under the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Fee (OJE), of which one-third of the total seats are for the state candidates. The remainder 15% of seats are filled through the counselling of JEE Main, while 5% seats are reserved for the NRI category and are filled by the institute on its own.
