The Shri Sai College of Education Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh was established the year 2001 and is a co-educational school situated in Kohla, District Hamirpur (H.P.). This affiliated college offering teacher education programmes has got permission from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is located in a very small piece of land of 1.06 acre having two full time courses collectively admitting 200 students. Ed which is now known as Bachelor of Education. Both are full-time courses, which take two years to complete the programme respectively. The B.Ed programme has an approval for a aggregate uptake of one hundred students and the D.El.Ed programme has an approval for a uptake of fifty students. These programmes are meant to prepare students for effective teaching at all levels of the education system as stated in the objective of this study.
