Shreenivasa Engineering College, located in Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu, was established in the year of 2010 and is also affiliated. Located over a campus of 10.85 acres, this institution has been striving in the field of engineering education for more than one decade. It is an AICTE college approved technical institution and it has a programme of its choosing for 475 engineering students. Having a healthy student-teacher ratio of 14:01 with 78 faculty members, the college keeps a constant aim of educating all candidates with high quality. There are indoor facilities for games like chess & carrom, outdoor games’ facility includes cricket, kabaddi, volleyball & badminton. The college also has a keen interest in student welfare where the college has provided different hostels for boys and girls comfortably with all necessary facilities for their studies. This is an Affiliated College of Anna University, Chennai. Therefore, apart from providing quality education to its students Shreenivasa Engineering College offers a wide array of engineering courses to meet the needs of students and market needs. It offers 10 programmes which are both undergraduate and post graduate. At the undergraduate level, B.Tech and BE courses offered are Biomedical Engineering , Computer Science and Engineering, Agriculture Engineering , Information Technology, and Advanced discipline of Artificial intelligence and Data Science. For the students who wish to pursue more studies in the college offers ME programmes in sub specialisations such as Power Electronics and Drives, Computer Science and Engineering, Structural Engineering and CAD CAM. All of these courses are full-time programmes that prepare the students for in depth understanding of specific fields along with acquiring practical knowledge. In the undergraduate programmes, 50% of the seats for the reservation is available under the government seat, where the admission process will be controlled by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination. The remaining 50% seats at the college are opens for management quota students depending on the marks achieved in plus two in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. They established a balance policy of admissions which created a right mix of the student’s destinies, merit and those who are selected by the management.
