SHPT School of Library Science is one of the oldest institutions in Mumbai and was founded in 1961 for the development of the library sciences. Integrated (Master of Library and Information Science), a two-year course; the PGD Library Science (Postgraduate Diploma in Library Science), a one-year programme; and the Ph.D. in Library and Information Science, a six-year research-orientated programme.
