Sharada College of Education, Mulbagal, was started in the year 2004, and it is a co-educational institution offering training only for teachers. Karnataka’s affiliated college is situated in Kolar which is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located on a 5.2 acres piece of land, the college provides optimal ground for learning and development. The college has a students strength of 80 and faculties 6 hence, the college is able to give more emphasis on the students and create a close student faculty relationship. Sharada College of Education has boasted facilities that are intended to support the teaching-learning process of students. The college currently has just one primary programme in its course offering, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This course is delivered full-time over the course of two years and has an approved capacity of 50 students. The basic objective of introducing the B.Ed programme is the desire to train teachers who are professional and proficient in conduct.
