Sharada Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Yadgir, Karnatak, is a well known college in the field of Ayurvedic education & health care system. This affiliated college was set up in 2014, and since then it has been preparing future Ayurvedic specialists for almost nine years. Established across an area of only 3.23 acres, the college has proved to impart fairly relevant knowledge to the 169 enroled students. A team of 38 dedicated and qualified faculty members contributes to small class sizes that make for better students’ straight contact. It is affiliated with the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) that shows that the college only provides education at a higher standard of Ayurveda. The course offered at Sharada Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital include one main course which include the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). This extensive course extends over a period of six years and offers detailed exposure of students to Ayurveda system of medicine. It is delivered only in full-time mode, which allows the students to fully devote their effort to learning. This college takes a total of 60 students every year thus, the college has a small population that improves direct contact between the learners and instructors.
