It is a co-educational college, having the aim to instigate development in future teachers and is affiliated to a state university. It offers B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.Ed with a total enrollment of 489 in the educational sector. A faculty of 20 highly qualified teachers ensures that SNCE enjoys a good student-teacher ratio, which is conducive for effective personalized attention and guidance for each aspiring teacher. At the very core, the College has impressive amenities in its own campus that facilitate the process of learning. It has well-equipped laboratories like the Science Lab, which comprises adequate apparatus for individual practicals; Language Lab with materials approved by NCTE; Educational Technologies Lab; Social Studies Lab; and Teaching Aids Lab.
