Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Polytechnic, popularly known as SAKP, is one of the premier technical institutions established in the year 1983 and located at Chembur, Mumbai. This affiliated, non-autonomous college, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi, has been catering to technical talent since almost four decades. This institute has a total student enrolment capacity of 237 in various diploma courses in emerging branches of Engineering. There are a range of facilities within SAKP that make learning easier for its students. The Polytechnic building, inside the College campus itself, accommodates the library on its first floor. This centre of learning can accommodate 100 students at a time in its spacious seating area. The Institute has an automation-supported library and has implemented barcode technology to monitor the issuing and receipt of books. The Institute also takes care of health with its medical centre providing first-aid facilities to the student. Facilities for indoor and outdoor sports aid to the holistic development of students in SAKP. The IT infrastructure of the college provides perfect support to modern learning and teaching methods.
