SGI School of Architecture for the architectural course was established in 2014, Nachhipur, Bhubaneswar, Odisha is an affiliated college. The institute is approved by the Council of Architecture and currently the institute provides and co-educational facility. Located at a narrow 2 acre space SGI School of Architecture has the total intake capacity of 32 students and offer admissions to the equivalent number of students. The institute focuses on architectural education and trains its students in a single course known as, Bachelors of Architecture (B.Arch). Since the college majors in architectural studies, its goal is to produce innovative and professional architecture experts in the future. SGI School of Architecture offers numerous services to aid the student in defining and achieving learning objectives. The campus provide different hostel for boys and girls to ensure they live comfortably especially those students who come from different regions. A functional library is a knowledge centre providing the necessary materials for architecture courses. They also keep it updated with laboratories for practical operations and dexterity to identify with their learning colleges. For health and recreation the students are provided with a gym, and other sport amenities. Among the facilities available on campus, it has up to date information technologies to support it learning and research. More facilities include a restaurant for canteen services, a hall for conducting conferences, lectures etc, and a clinic with first aid station. For student and staff usage in getting to and from college, the college provides transport facilities. However, the Training and Placement Cell has a much more significant responsibility of searching various placements for final year students through campus recruitment for different companies. SGI stands for Scallop Group of Institutions, School of Architecture, Bhubaneswar is a leading institute that solely dedicated to architectural education and service and has only single programme full time – B.Arch . This degree programme takes five years and the College has approved the admission of 20 students per academic year. The B.Arch course has been structured to develop communicative, aesthetic, professional, and technical competencies along the architectural design theory and practice to churn out successful architects.
