School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) was founded in the year 2008. Operating from the campus of Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh, this pharmacy education college is an affiliate institute. AICTE as well as PCI have approved the institute so that there is a high order of education. The school is on a compact campus of 0.57 acres, offering 4 courses across 2-degree programmes focusing on undergraduate and postgraduate studies in pharmacy. School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies commits itself to pharmaceutical education and research. Several modern facilities have been in place to make the students at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies learn better. Well-equipped laboratories provide hands-on exposure in all aspects of pharmaceutical sciences. The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies offers four pharmacy education courses aggregately on a full-time basis. Through the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses, specialisations offered in B.Pharma and M.Pharma comprise Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacology. The capacity intake for B.Pharma is 60 seats. The total seats for M.Pharma are 105 as each programme is of 15 seats. All programmes are designed to provide a sound background in pharmaceutical sciences that will qualify the graduate for careers in the pharmaceutical industry, research, and academia.
