Affiliated college in Tamil Nadu, India, named RVS KVK School of Architecture was founded in 2012 in Trichy. Located at Dindigul Highway Inamkulathur, it provides only one course out of all its programmes offering, a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch). Having a total student intake of 82 and faculty of 13 members, RVS KVK School of Architecture is opted for a systematic architectural career. There is a canteen inside the college which is functional from morning 7 am to evening 7 pm; they offer a variety of foods and different quick moving items such as sandwich chilly bajji etc. The B.Arch, programme offered at RVS KVK School of Architecture is the flagship programme of learning of the institution. This is a full time course that takes five years to complete with an approved capacity of 30 students per year. This programme is aimed at giving the holder extensive and thorough knowledge in architectural design and, theory, and practice. In support of this curriculum, the school has well equipped laboratory for practicals. There is good provision of IT facilities in the college so the students are provided with the required software as are used in the field of architecture. Also, the school possesses an auditorium to accommodate special occasions and seminars whereby students are allowed to interact with expert persons and increase their day to day understanding in different fields. The B.Arch programme offered at the RVS KVK School of Architecture admits students strictly based on the guidelines set by the Council of Architecture New Delhi and Anna University, Chennai. The tests include the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), which is the only test recognised by the institution that prospective students are expected to undertaker.
