RajaRajeshwari Medical College and Hospital commonly known as RRMCH was set up in 2005 located at Bangalore, Karnataka. Part of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, RRMCH is acknowledged by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Located on a large 25 acre land, this college has 44 courses which fall under 8 degree programmes offered to a total enrollment of 1,231 students. A highly equipped gym with modern equipment and other requisite sport facilities such as football, cricket, tennis, and basketball fields foster sports and recreation. The central library with an area of 1200 Sq. mtrs., has more than 22000 books and over hundreds of Indian & foreign journals, magazines, and periodicals on its shelves. Besides, it allows for an internet connection, a restaurant, and a canteen, serving various local and continental dishes, and transportation services with 20 buses for students and college employees. At RRMCH the medical courses provided by the institute include one under graduate programme: MBBS, twenty post graduate programmes MD /MS, six super specialty programmes DM/M.Ch and a number of diploma and B.Sc courses in the allied health sciences. The college has the total approved intake of 250 seats for MBBS programme , and post graduate courses have different intakes of 4 to 25 throughout the specialisation.
