RIISHI MS Institute of Engineering &Technology for Women Hyderabad the private Women’s Engineering College established in 2009 is affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad. Kukatpally based institute is sprawled over 5.2 acres and is affiliated to AICTE, All India Council for Technical Education. At present, the student strength is 386 and 75 teachers which contain three B.Tech programme which includes Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering. It continues the education for only female students as they promote women education in the scientific disciplines field. There are sophisticated facilities available in RIISHI MS Institute of Engineering &Technology campus for carrying out academic as well as co-curricular activities. It provides connectivity of computer networking especially in the area of Wi-Fi across the campus with backup of security by installing CCTV cameras all over the campus round the clock. The library is an institute of learning; the centre comprises of spacious rooms with particular display for reference, magazines, books, journals and periodical among others. It also consist of an Audio-Visual section was established with video cassettes and Compact Discs. Departmental laboratories: All necessary equipments are obtained to give practical sessions to the students in accordance with their fields of specialization. The college has an auditorium for functions and seminars, canteen for meals and sports ground for health conscious practices. There are three full time B.Tech Programmes for 4 years in Rishi MS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women. Intake of Engineering: The maximum intake of all the programmes offered is in Computer Science and Engineering with 180 seats followed by Information Technology with 60 seats each in Electronics and Communication Engineering . This has ensured the institution admits 300 students in total for all programmes offered at the institution. The role of institute mainly to impart the quality technical education for women, which help them to establish their carriers in the rapidly growing field of technology. Rishi MS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women follows the norm of admission through Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) . For all the B.Tech programmes, 70 percent of seats are available for students based on TS EAMCET counseling and the remaining 30 percent are directly under the college authorities. Prospective students should have passed their 10+2 with the least 45 percent in science while also passing the TS EAMCET test. Besides, 45% in diploma can also apply for the lateral entry. In addition the 85 percent quota policy of the institute ensures that most of the openings remain with the regional students or candidates. The college uses the centralized admission process, and sends out physical copies to other colleges usually in mid August. For the 2024 academic year, the tentative seat allocation was on 13 of August with physical reports to reach the colleges from 16-17 of August, 2024.
