Residential Girls' Polytechnic, Golaghat was established in 1996 in Pulibor, Golaghat, Assam. This affiliated college is an all-women technical institute approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. It offers diploma programmes with specialisations to young women who want to pursue a career in engineering. Spread over a vast campus of 37 acres, the institute has a total intake of 85 students with a faculty strength of 2 at present. The polytechnic offers two diploma courses in Textile Design and Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, an evidence of its passion for arming young women with skill sets that combine traditional and modern areas of technology.
