Rajiv gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Adilabad started its journey in the year of 2008 is one of the best Medical College situated in the newly formed state of Telangana in India. Located in a forty nine thousand five hundred and thirty square meters area, RIMS Adilabad has total admission strength of 620 total faculty of 19. The flagship programme is MBBS which has an government-approved intake of one hundred twenty seats preparing students in medical sciences. As for the postgraduation programmes the institute provides the following disciplines: MS General Surgery, MD Physiology , MD Biochemistry, MS Orthopaedics and etc. All courses are day programs that make training very effective by offering practical hand on experience. Canvased course wise postgraduate intake capacity as following, Principal Quota MS General Surgery 6; Other Specialisations 02 to 05 seats. The procedure adopted for admission into RIMS Adilabad is merit base and patterned in a highly structured way. For the MBBS program, the admission is proposed through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test under Graduate (NEET UG) rank.
