Rajiv Gandhi College of Education, a teacher training college, was established in 2004 at Bhadravathi in Karnataka state of India. A well-equipped library centre is very important as it offers access to key materials usable by future teachers. There are departmental laboratories on campus that facilitate practice and provide practical exposure to the students. In order to ensure the students have all-round development, the college provided sporting amenities and also provided encouragement for extracurricular activities. Rajiv Gandhi College of Education thus has only one full-time course on offer: the Bachelor of Education [ B.Ed ] program. This program takes two years and has an approved intake capacity of one hundred students, which is in agreement with our policies of offering quality education with reasonable class sizes.
